Overview
Constipation in adults is common and can affect people of any age. If you poo less that 3 times per week or find that your poo is difficult to push out and/or hard, dry and lumpy, then this can indicate that you have constipation.
People suffering with constipation may also suffer with:
- Stomach ache
- Bloating
- Nausea
Constipation can often be treated successfully with simple changes to your diet and lifestyle. You may wish to discuss the use of laxatives with a pharmacist.
